"Arrive as a guest and leave as a friend" sums up a stay at the Mas de la Tourette, une maison d'hôtes de charme. You stay in our home as a friend, not a room number in an impersonal hotel. Here you can unwind in total peace and quiet, undisturbed by children and dogs, and we never have more than 7 guests at a time so there is plenty of space. If you wish we are available to help and advise to ensure that your stay is as pleasant as possible,so that you get the feel of the real Provence. You are free to go as you please on the property, laze by the pool, walk in the hills or go off on trips in this area that is still uncrowded and unspoilt by tourism yet so rich in history.

1. Cool Coquelicot - King Size double-Peak = €90(£82) Other dates = €85(£78)

A cool, ground floor room with a garden view in the oldest part of the house. Massive oak beam.
2. Bellevue Balcony - Super-king double or twin with en suite bathroom - Peak = €105(£96) Other dates = €95(£86)
A very spacious room with an exclusive décor and a private balcony with views across the vines to Toulon harbour and the granite hills. Sip a glass of rosé on warm evenings and admire the dramatic sunsets.
3. Monet Marine - double - Peak = €80(£73) Other dates = €75(£68)
double with washbasin in room and separate shower and WC.
NB. Rooms 2 & 3 can be booked together, sharing the same bathroom for €160(£145) in peak season & €150(£136) on all other dates.
Blue and navy décor reflects the maritime heritage of this area. Outside your window is the ancient olive tree with a sea view beyond.
4. Brigitte Bardot - single - same price all year = €65(£59)
(90 cms bed, shower and washbasin in room)
"BB" epitomised this region and Saint Tropez in the sixties. This room reflects her many charms.

We do not accept reservations for just one night more than 7 days in advance.
Pets not accepted. We are a NO SMOKING house.

How to Find Us

Directions:
We ask you to arrive between 17.30 and 19.00 but if this is not convenient, please give us a call the day before.
In the centre of Le Pradet, take the wide road, Boulevard Jean Jaures, that goes SOUTH (towards the sea), between the Dyneff petrol station and the shop "L'Escale" on the corner. Signs read "Hôtel L'Escapade/Restaurant Chanterelle" and "La Garonne/Oursinières".
Continue on this road for about 800 metres and then after a bend, on a descent, turn left at the red sign "Sables d'Or". This is the "Chemin du Traversier",single track and narrow (take it easy as the locals take no prisoners) and you follow it, through a narrow S-bend under large oak trees, as far as it will go to the T-junction where you turn right into the "Chemin des Bernard".
Continue past woods, fields and vines and after 400 metres as the road heads uphill, you will see a large pink house with a tower on the left. This is Mas de la Tourette. Drive in through wrought iron gates, right up to the house to unload your luggage.
